Campus Connect portal provides a student a gateway to avenues like career guidance and counseling, corporate interaction, jobs, internships and at the same time also into one of the biggest student communities. Campus connect also offers online festivals and events where students can participate and create a mark for themselves across India. The student can avail all these services though a simple registration process.

What is My Account section on the Campus Connect website?

The My Account section in the portal provides personalized services to the students. The students achieve the following functionalities through My Account link.

- View their PeP information
- Applied jobs and internship positions
- Self assessment and national ranking
- Community (Friends, Messages, Image sharing)
- Blurbs and Answers
- Quizzes and contests etc.

What is PeP?

A nationwide standardized test aimed at simplifying the current campus recruitment of final year Engineering students. It is an Objective type test and candidates will be short listed for participating companies based on their performance in PeP.

Who are eligible for this test?

Candidates passing out in year 2010 are eligible to appear for the Test. Additionally entry level graduates with 1-3 years can also register with us.

I don't have a resume yet. Can I Register?

No, to register you will have to create a resume and upload it on our site. If any help is required to create a good resume, please refer to our counseling section.

How long will my scores be valid?

The scores will be valid for a period of 1 year from the date of the test.

Do I need to take a test every time I want to apply for a new company?

No. One valid score enables you to apply to multiple companies.

What is the selection procedure of the program?

The selection procedure is as follows:
  • The students appearing for PeP test will have their scores sent across to the companies.
  • Candidates will be short listed for various companies based on their PeP test scores and academic performance.
  • Based on the candidate interest in various companies, an individual will be called for Interviews scheduled to be held in six major cities across India.

How can I avail the internship opportunities with Campus-Connect?

You just have to register to our website through the internships page, so that we can have all your details available to us to match with corresponding internship opportunities. Various organizations are in touch with us for their internship openings, once we get a profile matching to the corresponding opening, the student is contacted accordingly.

Why didn't I get Candidate ID when I register for Internship?

Candidate ID is provided to only those candidates who are eligible for the PeP test (passing out in 2010). For the rest of the candidates we do not issue a candidate ID.

What is the last date of Registration for an in-campus PEP exam?

The schedule for PeP 2010 would be conveyed to the candidates through the My Account section at the website once the same is finalized after talking to the Training and Placement cell in various institutes. It is mandatory to register online for appearing in the test. The last date for registering online would be 2 days before the exam schedule.

How to get the PEP admit card?

Just register yourself at www.campus-connect.com. The My Account section would have a link for My PeP which includes information for PeP 2010 schedules and Admit card information.

Is necessary to apply online for appearing in the exam?

We have the whole application process done online, hence it is mandatory to register online for the exam so that campus-connect has students detail for further references.

Which are the participating companies for the program?

The organizations which are participating in the program are listed on the website. We are in process of signing up with various other organizations for the program, and the process would go on till year end. As the company signup is done we would be displaying the details of the same on www.campus-connect.com.

What is the mode for payment in PeP?

Students can make payments online using a valid credit card, online bank transfer, and other online modes by accessing my account section and further following the payment process. All payments are carried through secured payment gateway services.

How do I get the scores I secured in PeP?

Students PeP scores are sole property of CareerNet Consulting and are not disclosed to the student or the placement department in any circumstances. This is done to ensure the confidentiality of the hiring standards of various organizations participating in PeP.

Do I need to freshly register for participation in PeP?

Can I take PeP off campus?

PeP is conducted in consensus with the training and placement department of your college. Students wishing to take PeP examination outside campus for valid reasons can do so by contacting us personally for issuing new venue details for your exam.

Am I eligible to take PeP, if my college is not appearing on the list of colleges appearing in the registration page?

No. We would like to bring to your notice that, college inclusion for the program is a process which is followed after communication with the training and placement department of respective campus.
We request you to get in touch with the placement department for contacting us to have your college name included in the list.

Is there any amount which needs to be paid to the company or campus, once I have got an offer from one of the participating companies?

No, after getting an offer from the organization you are not required to pay anything to anyone!

What is the interview procedure followed?

Companies who work in collaboration with us shortlist students on the basis of their PeP scores and resume for further interviews. These selected students are called for a face to face interview which is organized by CareerNet at a suitable venue.

Most organizations offer a salary package in the range of 3.5 lakhs - 10 lakhs. This varies across sectors and domains.

A blurb is a broadcasting platform for you to share valuable information/ experiences / perspectives which you provide to all the members of the Campus Connect community. This helps one and all to share their thoughts and indentify various activities prevailing in the campus in a better manner.
